Astronist classification of atheism is the Astronist conception of what atheism consists of as a belief orientation.

The Astronist classification of atheism is the understanding and subsequent conclusion of how atheism is best classified by Astronist scholarship and this topic has become part of the wider topic of the Astronist philosophy of religion and continues to be debated.

From the Cometanic perspective, which can be considered as a subset of the overall Astronist perspective directly attributable to the personage of Cometan, atheism is classified as a belief orientation of denial. Atheism is considered as characterised by a single tenet of the denial of the existence of a God or supreme being hence atheism is formed on a negative, or on a denial of something, but it is nevertheless assertive.

The difference between Christianity and atheism is that the former is a religion based on a positive assertion that God exists while the latter is a denial based on a negative assertion that God does not exist. Essentially, the reference to atheism as a belief is reaffirmed from the Cometanic and the wider Astronist perspective.
